Products - Brief Summaries
Risk Explorer™ (US Patent 6,993,465 B2):
Risk Explorer™ is powerful, flexible and easy-to-use DFA software. It was originally developed for the property & casualty insurance and reinsurance industry, but can now be applied to other industries, such as life & health insurance and banking. Implementing many DFA solutions can be very costly, in terms of the specification and development costs, where solutions are developed in-house, whereas many off-the-shelf products do not easily deliver what's required. By working closely with our clients on solving real business issues, Risk Explorer™ has evolved to become a practical, easy to use and fast to learn DFA platform, providing significant cost savings in its day to day application. The clear framework and simple model structure increases the accessibility of the technology within organizations.

URS Real World™:
URS Real World™ is one-of-a-kind global economic model that simulates consistent macroeconomic scenarios in multiple economies. Each macroeconomic scenario contains the behavior of most important macroeconomic variables such as:
* GDP Growth Rate
* Inflation Rate
* Interest Rates (Yield Curves)
* Exchange Rates, Spot and Forward
* Stock Market Indexes
* Unemployment Rate
* Investment Rate
URS Real World™ is an economic scenario generator that can produce any number of the above scenarios for any number of future years or quarters. URS Real World™ includes the tools for the users to verify that simulated economic scenarios for the above variables are consistent with their historical behavior.

Res-Solver™:
Res-Solver™ is a state-of-the-art deterministic and stochastic reserving software. One of its unique models is based on the analogy between payout of insured losses and decay of radioactive material described in nuclear physics. Another model is based on the application of neural networks to loss development process. Res-Solver™ produces deterministic estimates and simulates stochastic distributions of insurance company's ultimate losses and loss reserves for each underwriting or accident year/quarter, for each line of business and for the company as a whole. The software also produces deterministic estimates and simulates stochastic distributions for cash outflows (loss payouts) produced by past insurance policies or reinsurance contracts in each future calendar year/quarter.

URS Translator™ for Excel:
URS Translator™ for Excel is a spreadsheet compiler, converting spreadsheet logic into fast running machine code. This product is fully integrated with Risk Explorer™ where it is used to extend the standard model components to include any asset models, exotic, non-traditional risk models and reinsurance arrangements with non-standard behaviors. The compiled code from URS Translator™ for Excel can be used by financial institutions or other users of Excel models who wish to accelerate the execution of those models and to avoid the time consuming and expensive process of converting spreadsheet models into formally coded models.

URS Model Builder:
URS Model Builder provides a friendly visual framework with which to install and run executable modules (DLLs) created with URS Translator™ for Excel. The framework allows the analyst to quickly construct collections of compiled components of incredible complexity with no external programming. This gives all the advantages of the flexible Excel environment and all the speed and power of more formal programming environments.

UltiFit™:
UltiFit™ is a sophisticated statistical distribution fitting software tool designed to help calibrate Risk Explorer's parameters as well as to provide, on a stand-alone basis, analysis of statistical data.
